Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 21, 2025
1. Overview
EmulatorPilot helps commanders automate repetitive tasks inside their Evony emulators. We respect the trust you place in the platform and limit the information we collect to what is necessary to operate the service, provide support, and improve stability.
This policy explains the types of information we gather while EmulatorPilot is in private beta, how that information is used and shared, and the controls available to you. By using the website, requesting early access, or interacting with the dashboard, you agree to the practices described below.
2. Information we collect
We collect information directly from you and automatically through your use of EmulatorPilot. The categories include:
- Account credentials. Email addresses and passwords you provide when you request access or sign in. Passwords are hashed via Supabase authentication services and never stored in plain text.
- Usage telemetry. Basic event data about how you interact with the dashboard, such as feature toggles, automation schedules you configure, and status updates generated by your emulators. These records help us diagnose issues and improve reliability.
- Support communications. Messages you send to the beta team via email, Discord, or feedback forms, along with any attachments you provide.
- Device data. Limited technical details, including browser type, operating system, and IP address, captured to secure accounts and prevent abuse.
3. How we use information
Information is used to deliver and enhance EmulatorPilot. Typical purposes include:
- Operating the core automation services, dashboards, and alerting systems you request.
- Authenticating accounts, maintaining sessions, and securing access to beta features.
- Monitoring performance, debugging issues, and planning future improvements.
- Communicating updates, responding to support tickets, and coordinating beta onboarding.
We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers. Access is limited to the small EmulatorPilot team and trusted service providers, such as Supabase, who assist with hosting and authentication under strict contractual safeguards.
4. Data retention and security
We retain account and automation data for as long as you maintain an EmulatorPilot account or as needed to provide requested services. You may request deletion of stored data at any time, and we will remove or anonymize records unless retention is required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
EmulatorPilot uses encryption, access controls, and continuous monitoring to protect stored information. While no online service can guarantee perfect security, we actively review infrastructure and adjust controls to stay ahead of emerging threats.
5. Your choices
You can manage the information associated with your account in several ways:
- Update account credentials by signing into the dashboard and adjusting your profile settings.
- Request removal from the beta program, which will deactivate automation tasks and delete stored schedules.
- Opt out of non-essential communications by using the unsubscribe links in emails or messaging the team directly.
- Submit questions about stored data or request exports so you can review the information maintained about your account.
6. Updates to this policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy as EmulatorPilot evolves. When material changes occur we will update the date at the top of this page, summarize the adjustments, and notify beta participants through email or in-app messaging.
7. Contact us
If you have questions about this policy or need assistance exercising your privacy rights, reach out to the EmulatorPilot beta team in the community Discord or email privacy@emulatorpilot.com. You can also review our Terms of Service for details on platform expectations and responsibilities.
